We Thank God for your past generosity for enabling the Parish to fulfill the needs of Pazhampallichal and Mexico missions. The Parish depends on your pledges and generous contributions to support these activities. Through your continued support and prayers, St. Peter's will fulfill its responsibility given to us through the "Great Commission".

 

 

This is the current state of our mission work.
 
Pazhampallichal Mission: This Mission is completely dependent on the prayerful financial support of St Peters Mar Thoma Church, New Jersey. Pazhampallichal Mission is situated in a forest area and a small congregation was formed in 2005 and at present has 27 families as members and many other families associates with our various works and programs. We have Divine services on Sundays and Holy Qurbana is celebrated once in a month. Sunday school, Sevika Sangham fasting prayer and cottage Prayer meetings are held every week.
 
MexicoMission Activities:
 Medical Mission Camp was held in May 08 and our church participated and provided medical services. Young Families provided vitamins to support the camp. Mission Activities also include - Mission Trip; 70 of 90 houses built and families moved in; Chapel built; Translate divine service in Spanish is in progress; 3 small school building were built; Mexican govt. has provided 3 teachers free of cost. Youth Fellowship has collected funds for uniforms.
 
REQUESTS FROM KERALA
Our Church received numerous applications for financial assistance.
 
Mr. D. Soman, Evangelist at Visakapatanam has stalled the construction of house in Trivandrum. He has requested $1000.00 towards completion of his house.
 
Mr A. Thomaskutty, St Peters Parish, Perisherry, Chengunnur – His second daughter had a very complicated delivery which resulted in extended hospitalization. In addition to this, his house is in a deplorable condition. He has requested $2,000.00 to pay off the hospital bills and repair the house.
 
Mr, C. S. Chacko, Emmanuel Marthoma Church, Panamannu, Near Chungathara, Nilumbur, His daughter Linda is starting her nursing program at the Hoskot nursing school and has requested $1000.00 towards the educational expenses.
 
Mr. C. V Abraham, St Andrews MTC, Mallapally, Pariyaram - He has 4 daughters. His 3rd daughter was sent for nursing and during her “bond” period in Bangalore, met with an accident and was passed away. He is in need of $2000.00 to pay off her nursing student loan.
 
Mrs. Rajani Thomas, Ranni, Christos MTC – She is a Cancer patient and needs to undergo a surgery immediately. Her husband is doing rubber tapping for a living and has to support his ailing wife, 2 kids 10 & 12 years and elderly parents. She has requested $1,000.00 for her medical expenses.
 
Mr. Thomas Isaac, St ThomasMarthomaChurch, Melpalai, Kaniyakumari Dist, TVM, Quilon Diocese – He is a recovering alcoholic patient. The Vicar took him to healing centre and by the grace of God he is now healed completely. However, this has left him in deep Financial Crisis, and has requested $1000.00 towards the construction of house.
 
Mr. Y. Xavier Evangelist, Pollachi Mission, Tamil Nadu - He has 2 boys in 3rd and 4rth grade. He would like to send his kids to EnglishMediumSchool. He has requested $300 for educational aid for his kids.
 
Mr. C T Abraham, Panyail, Nooranad – He has severe Cataract and needs Surgery in both eyes. He has requested $1000 for surgery expenses.
 
Increased participation and pledges are the surest ways to guarantee the continued growth of the Parish’s mission and ministries. Please give generously for the mission activities and pray regularly for the mission.
 
We hope that the hearts of all will be led to some form of joyful, thankful commitment. Please pray and pledge as the Lord moves you.
